
The Center of Excellence for Malaria Diagnosis, College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Lagos, is happy to commence the Microscope Maintenance Course. This course addresses the challenges in the handling of microscopes and how they can be maintained to ensure better performance. Significantly, the course will elucidate the various qualities of microscopes available in the market and how informed decision could guide their purchase and use. Scientists and Biomedical Engineers with rich experience in microscope use and repairs are part of the selected faculty for this course. This course will prolong the life of your microscopes, ensure that it performs optimally (by elucidating and not obscuring materials of interest that should be viewed) in a timely fashion, promote accurate viewing of any specimen, makes teaching of students easier and exciting etc. Organizations/facilities where any kind of microscopes is used should take advantage of this special course to train their staff.
